World Poetry Day: Poetry in Many Languages

In celebration of World Poetry Day, the Brandon Public Library and the John E. Robbins Library at Brandon University are pleased to announce a free night of poetry in many languages. Thursday, March 22, we're hosting an open mic poetry reading at the Public Library.

Anyone and everyone is welcome. Bring a poem written by a dead poet, in any language, and read or recite it in honour of poetry cultures around the world. You may add the English translation (if it's in another language), or just briefly introduce the subject of the poem.
