Did you know?

Neepawa Library is located downtown in the beautiful town of Neepawa, which is found at the junction of the scenic Yellowhead Highway and Parks Route, Highway #5. Only 50 minutes North of Brandon, Neepawa has a growing population of 5,600, is home to the historic Margaret Laurence Home and one of the finest golf courses in the province.

The Library’s collection is continuously growing and changing to meet the needs of patrons – in addition to books and magazines we also offer a selection of audio books and DVDs for adults and children as well as access to various eResources. Public Internet is available on several public computers.

Several times a year Neepawa Library presents local and visiting authors to discuss their new books, enrich us with their ideas and to challenge our assumptions. We enjoy their energy and passion for the written word as well as the new ideas they offer to us as readers and aspiring authors.

Business and non-profit community groups have access to a public meeting room which is available for meetings and private events during and outside of library hours.

Neepawa Library has been a member of the WMRL since 1968 and moved to the present location in 1996. A Local Advisory Committee ensures the interests of the community are reflected in the collection and the activities of the Library.
