Internet Usage Policy

All users must read and sign this policy compliance form
prior to use of the Library's Internet stations. For those individuals
under 18 years of age, this form must be accompanied by a
completed "Parental Permission Form"
The Library provides Internet access for informational and
educational purposes.
The display or sending of information which may be
reasonably deemed as obscene, illegal, discriminatory, defamatory,
harassment, profanity, commercial, and causing annoyance or
inconvenience is not permitted.
Users are responsible for any damage caused to the
Library's computer equipment and for any losses or damages sustained by
the Library as a result of use of the service.
The quality or accuracy of information retrieved through
the Internet is the responsibility of the user. It is also the
user's responsibility to ensure that copyright law is not violated.
Parents are responsible for their children's use of the
workstations and are advised to supervise their children's Internet
sessions.
Users in violation of this Internet Usage Policy may have
their Internet access revoked and may be subject to prosecution by the
proper authorities.
