The fourth Saturday of every month, the Brandon Public Library is thrilled to offer SCIENCE SATURDAYS: hands-on science programming for children ages 5 - 8. Facilitated by Brandon University's Let's Talk Science team, Science Saturdays are entirely free, entirely hands-on, and entirely fun.
Ages 5-8 will meet from 10:15 to 11:00 in the Library Program Room. Registration is required.

What are particles? Chemicals? Compounds? Learn this and more. Assemble molecules, and explode plastic bags!
February 24 - DNA:

March 24 - Physics:
How do unseen forces like gravity work? Explore the mysteries of physics with super powerful magnets.
April 28 - Astronomy:
Planets, stars, asteroids...Follow a scavenger hunt around the library to learn about the scale of the solar system.
May 26 - Geology:
Rocks, minerals, metals...what is the Earth made of, and how did it get this way? Volcanoes, earthquakes, and fossils are only part of the story.
