Dianne Brydon joins us to discuss how she and her father researched and published The Stalwart Brydons, the story of one of Manitoba's pioneering families.  She and her father spent countless hours gathering information on the many branches of their family, and Dianne will tell us about how they organized it into a comprehensive family story book.

Sharron Arksey will present her new novel, The Waiting Place.  Although this is a work of fiction, much of what Sharron knows from her life in Manitoba and her career as an agricultural journalist is reflected in her first novel.  The story is told by a woman who lives on the family farm in rural Canada with her husband, parents, siblings, and a herd of cows.
