Join us for a free, friendly Storytime about inclusion, accepance, and sexual and gender diversity! Ideal for children ages 3-5, library staff and Brandon Pride Committee members will read stories and lead children in simple songs. Children will make crafts to take home, and to decorate the Library for Pride Week. Please register ahead of time. Parents and younger siblings are welcome to join in this friendly LGBTQ+ themed program.

Join us at 1:30 pm in the Program Room at the Brandon Public Library on Thursday, May 25th for a library scavenger hunt for all ages! Form teams and work together to follow clues around the Library. Learn about the library fish, the owl, the red car . . . and more! No registration is required, though we will be starting promptly at 1:30, so please be on time. There will be prizes for everyone at the end.
Calling all genealogy enthusiasts! On May 31st, historian Dianne Brydon presents her genealogical research in comiling her family history book, The Stalwart Brydons.
About the Book:
This creative writing program, open to anyone over the age of 18, follows a workshop model. Participants meet twice monthly to share pieces of creative writing in progress and give and receive feedback as a group. We will hold a public reading/open mic event at the end of the three months, where participants and members may optionally present their work. Participants must register ahead of time.
