Summer is upon us once again, which means that it is time for summer programming here at the library! This year we have a variety of clubs and contests for all ages. For the adults we have the Adult Summer Reading Club where participants are invited to submit reviews on the books they have read and will be eligible to win a prize! Reviews can be submitted to email@example.com or at their local library branch. The Adult Summer Reading Club is open from July 4th through to August 25th.
A contest that will be open to patrons of all ages is the Library Bookmark Contest. Drop by the library and pick up a design template, create your own unique bookmark, and bring it back for your chance to win a prize! The deadline is August 21st, so get planning!
The TD Summer Reading Club is back this year and is open to all kids-Pre-readers, Readers, and Teens! Kids will have the chance to read their way to prizes! More information and registration can be found at the library.
I am also pleased to announce that we will be bringing back the Kids Club to Glenboro this year! It will continue as it was done before, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. and is open to kids aged 5 through 12. Everyone will meet at the school grounds. Registration forms can be found at http://glenboro.com/recreation/kids-summer-activities under Kids Club. You can either drop these forms off at the library or you can email a copy to Shannon at firstname.lastname@example.org
Our theme this year is in celebration of Canada’s 150th Birthday! Stop by the library and check out what Canada’s authors have been writing!
